Starting next Tuesday, Greer's hub of the cultural arts will have expanded hours for the public.
A major focal point at the city's Edward R. Driggers Center for the Arts for the next couple of months is a diverse, three dimensional exhibit featuring 13 local artists. The exhibition of work by the Greer Fiber Arts Collective includes collages, weaving, tapestries, quilting, and several intricate dolls made of fiber.
The Greer Fiber Arts Collective hosts a class on the second Wednesday of every month that's free and open to the public. You don't have to sign up. You can show up and watch demonstrations and ask questions of the more experienced fiber artists in the group.

Mondays: Closed
Tuesdays: Noon to 8 p.m.
Wednesdays: Noon to 4 p.m.
Thursdays: Noon to 4 p.m.
Fridays: Closed
Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sundays: Closed
