The holiday season is officially kicking off this week in Downtown Greer! Whether you're having breakfast with Santa, picking up gifts at the Holiday Market, or finding the perfect spot at the parade, check out these important reminders and tips to make the most of your festive weekend!

Tree Lighting at City Park Friday, Dec. 5 | 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. (rain or shine)
Join us for this fun kickoff event as we come together to light Greer's Christmas tree in City Park. Activities will include:
FREE holiday craft stations
FREE train rides
Christmas carolers
live performances on the amphitheater stage (5:00 - 7:00 p.m.)
Ice sculpture demonstration
Greer Relief offering s'mores and hot chocolate
Food vendors
A visit from Santa for the lighting of the tree at 7:10p.m.

Breakfast with Santa Saturday, Dec. 6 | 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
This family favorite event returns to the Cannon Center as children get the chance to enjoy holiday crafts, breakfast, a letter writing station for their wishlists, and a visit from Santa himself! While this event is sold out, families with tickets are reminded to plan for public parking as other holiday events will be set up during this time!

Christmas at the Museum Saturday, Dec. 6 | 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Enjoy this fun, festive, and informative event at the Greer Heritage Museum as local historian David Lovegrove shares stories of Greer's holiday history! While tickets are free, they are required. Secure yours here!
Donations of shelf stable canned and boxed food for Greer Relief are encouraged!

Greer Farmers Market Christmas Festival Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 6 & 7 | 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Join us for this beloved 2-day holiday festival in City Park! The market will feature:
Over 65 farmers, makers, and bakers
Local food trucks
Live music
Children's activities including bounce houses, crafts, and more.
Enjoy a festive atmosphere as you make a dent in your Christmas shopping list while supporting local businesses! Outside food, beverages, and pets are not permitted at this event.

The Greer Relief Christmas Parade Sunday, Dec. 7 | 2:30 p.m.
We're wrapping up the weekend of festivities with the annual Christmas Parade hosted by Greer Relief! The parade will begin at W. Poinsett and Memorial Dr. near the Clock at 2:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot along the parade route! This year's additions to the parade include:
A live stream hosted by Greer Tidbits
A Sensory Safe Zone at the beginning of the route to provide a quieter atmosphere for those who need it.
Lawn chairs are welcome, but pop-up tents are not permitted. Pets (not including service animals) are not permitted. Please note that the parade will be rain or shine! Any change in this plan will be communicated on our facebook pages the day of.
